FAQs

1. How do you know what style I like?

By completing our Design Inspiration Form at the start of the process we get a really good idea of what you’re hoping to achieve from your design. As well as completing the form we encourage you to send us pictures from Pinterest or magazines of home design and styles which you love, and hope to achieve in your space.

2. What if I don’t like an item selected for my home?

No problem at all - for up to 2 weeks after your call where your designer presents their concepts to you you request as many re-designs as you’d like for no additional charge.

3. How does it work with ordering items for my home and installing them?

Once your design is complete and you have signed off on it, then we will send you a list of all the items we have used as part of your design and links to purchase them. 6. How does it work with paint colors when designing my space?

We will recommend the paint colors we think will work, but you will need to buy the samples and test them in the room as lighting can have such an impact on how paint looks in person. We will work with you virtually until you find the color which is right for your space.

7. How realistic will the floorpan and design of my room be?

As part of the design process we will ask you to send us measurements of your room. We will then build a replica of the space on the floorpan and also on your design boards which will look realistic enough that you will get a really good feel of what the the actual room will look like once it has been designed. Here is our measurement guide which will help you to send us the details we need.

8. What does my budget need to be?

We will work with any realistic budget for a space, but the budget will determine the stores we source from and quantity of items we can select. We would advise budgeting £5,000-10,000 for an entire room re-design, but if your budget is less then we still want to work with you and will ensure you get quality products and a design you love.

9. Why work with a virtual interior designer and not an in person one?

Most in person interior designers will charge you an average rate of £200 per hour, usually bringing the total design fee to £5,000-10,000. This is just the design fee and doesn’t include the beautiful items you want to purchase for your home. We want make interior design accessible for everyone, and so with our most expensive package being £99, you can prioritize spending your money on the items for your home and still have one on one access to your designer.

By doing virtual design you also get to experience the whole process from the comfort of your own home. You can also purchase the items we choose for you at your own pace which means you are in control of your budget through the entire process.

We can do full room designs of any room but with kitchen and bathroom design you would need to bring in on site expertise for cabinet layout and plumbing installation as it would be would be too complex virtually.
